Nicole Beverly
Founder & Executive Director
Growing up as a young black girl in New Jersey Nicole first hand witnessed the power of mentorship through women in her community such as her teacher, neighbors and her own single mother. Seeing women that looked like her, succeed passed obstacles, giving encouragement, became daily motivators that she too can achieve her own goals. She
later learned mentors not only positively impact young girls but also girls who grow up
to be women. Mentors words and support in a child or adult's life ripples into their lives forever. There is no age limit of a mentor or mentee.
Nicole has always had a passion for mentoring and empowering young girls. Over a decade of mentoring and nonprofit experience started for her during her undergraduate at NC A&T State University mentoring girls in Girls Inc, Big Brother
Big Sister. During an internship with a local nonprofit summer program, she met a girl that reminded her of her younger self. Young witty girl who had so much potential, sometimes quiet but also outspoken who just needed a little push in the right direction to reach her highest potential. Little did she know mentoring her over the summer would begin her life long passion creating ways in how she empowers young girls ignite and outside of her community.

Today as a woman, teacher, and social impact entrepreneur Nicole continues to realize the importance of having a good circle of sister friends and mentors, helping each other reflect, evolve and grow into their highest potential and understand this life journey. This is why she is motivated to achieve the same for her mentees' in iFlourish, a space to thrive!
